Each of the dials on the new STO models are inspired by glaciers, with a vertical ice-inflected texture rendered link in three different shades of white or blue. The Seiko SPB297 (pictured above) builds link on the 62MAS skin-diver design language from 1965, while the SPB299 (below) link is a new take on the aesthetic codes established by the original 1968 Automatic Diver 300m Hi-Beat ref. 6159-7001.
