I link was comparing and contrasting these two remarkably similar QPs from AP and Vacheron but, from one exhibitor's booth over, a Patek 3940J kept whispering to me. Pick me up and play with me, it said. And because it said Patek Philippe on the dial, I obliged and brought it next to the AP and Vacheron.

Some candidate names, taken from the minutes of a meeting in September, 1971, include, Safari, Grand Prix, Diane, Surfrider, Colorado, and Ascot (!). One struggles to imagine the watch succeeding as well as link it has with the name link "Ascot" (which makes me personally link think of two things: Horse races and Fred from Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!), but I guess weirder things have happened.
