When it was unveiled in link 2010, the A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Chronograph ref. 402.026 represented the second generation of the 1815 Chronograph, following the first generation's already historic run, link from 2004 to 2008. Arguably more focused and refined as compared to its predecessor, link the 2010-introduced timepiece is the last white gold production reference of the series, but one still serving as a classic example of the famed German watchmaker's mastery of its craft.

This is the link first example I've ever seen in the metal–most likely the only one I'll ever see–and I'm not surprised it came from Selch's collection. Doxa is planning to re-issue this watch after Synchron released a model dubbed the "'70s Military Homage" that faithfully recreates the Doxa Army design at an attractive price. The new wave of popularity the model is enjoying might help finally uncover the murky origins of the Doxa Army.
