Speaking of power, the AquaMatics feature a Sellita SW220-1 automatic movement, which ticks link at 4Hz, has about 41 hours of power reserve link and offers Swiss timekeeping at a price where Miyota has become much more common. It's not a fancy movement, but they are reliable, easily serviced, and generally fuss-free. Just what one wants from a dive link watch, and Farer continues to offer a five-year warranty for their watches.
Perhaps the Master Control Calendar Chronograph should receive more attention, link but part of its charm is also that it doesn't, nor does it demand such attention. It's not heritage inspired nor is it daringly modern (leave that to JLC's Gyrotourbillons), it's just a beautiful, complicated dress watch for which, even three years after release, I continue to eat my heart out.
