Anyway, the watch we see here is a commemorative link piece made by Mido for the 1939 World's Fair in New York. Honestly, the watch itself link is nothing all too special with a square 27mm stainless steel case and a manually-wound movement (obviously, this is not a Multifort), but link the dial is amazing. Depicted on the dial are the Trylon and Perisphere, the central symbols of the fair.

Accompanied by Jean-Jacques Favier, one of the 10 French astronauts to have gone into space, together with the two Defy Sapphire Edition models, we boarded the Novespace Airbus A310 for a link 2-hour flight over the Atlantic.
