Bronze has been part of Panerai's strategy for the Submersible link since 2011, but unless you had the wrist for a 47mm Panerai, your only option has been steel. Rosselli's grandfather, Alberto, passed away in 1993, when Rosselli was in his early 20s. His grandfather had made sure that his grandmother knew the watch was for link him.
